Why 'LIVING LIFE WITH CHOICES...!'?

Some of my friends were asking me, why the blog is titled like this?

What I think is,
Life is all about choices. You make them and have to live with them.

To make choices is to both enjoy and suffer the consequences of those choices, for there are consequences to every choice, and it is often the unknown nature of those consequences that makes choosing so difficult.

So, which is more important, a life with many choices or a life of no worries? Good and bad come with each. A life with choices comes with some wrong choices, and a life of no worries comes with no individuality. The answer is a matter of opinion.

With the choices we make in life comes freedom, and with freedom comes the hope for a better life. If we did not have choices, there would be no point in worrying about wealth or income or rates of return on investments or any other matter relating to success in this country.

Each choice decides the route of your life.. its fate and then comes the next opportunity to go back to the same step from where you had gone a step behind to start it over - where wasted a chance which could given you much more - again from that reference point and your destiny reshapes itself.

Finally, Life is all maths and is a sum of all your choices.

Photo finish ...

Viewed has won the Melbourne Cup for Bart Cummings, beating Bauer in a thrilling finish

I lost a bet of $5 in this race. My horse managed the 4th position.

Losses are more familiar for me now. From last few days I am losing many things. I lost considerable amount of my money in stock market. Yeah, the global crisis hit me badly.

Apart from money, I feel like I am losing many other things in life; I'm far away from my family, my friends, and the social life in India. When you’re abroad, you know the real value of many things that you’ve lost. It seems that everyone seems so near, yet so far to reach.

Everything is making me think.
Some relationships are really too complicated for me to handle, I'm really not up to it. I've had an uncomfortable sense that someone, or something, has been tinkering with my brain, remapping the neural circuitry, reprogramming the memory. My mind isn't going - so far as I can tell - but it's changing. I'm not thinking the way I used to think.

I think, I'm thinking too much.

Of course everyone knows what Autralia is. It needs no introduction. People come here with dollar dreams in their eyes.

India complete final rites in Mohali

India dismissed Australia for 195 runs on the fifth morning to register thumping 320-run victory in the Mohali Test.

India, celebrating the one of the biggest blockbuster in their box office history.
India lead the four-match series 1-0. The first Test in Bangalore ended in a draw.

Few days before, On the walk back home from work I saw an advertisement by Telstra which was a banner on a Sydney city bus and said - “watch us disappoint 1.3 billion people“ .

Obviously the marketing team over here (which is to telecast live Cricket) has spoken too early and spoken too much!

Hope they will change this banner now.... :-)

Let’s show them the joy of 1.3 billion people…
Cheers…!

Hello World

I'm glad you stopped by. For those of you who don't know who I am, I'd like to tell you a little about myself and what you can expect to find at this blog both now and also in the future.

I’m, a voyager, travelling a mysterious path of life.

My perception about life is my reality. What I think is what I see. People might see things in a very different manner, But it’s hard for me to do the same.

As time flows by so do we. Some people are left behind not by choice but by situations. Life always compels us to do things that we wouldn't have done if we had another way out.
But what can you really do when you have one path to follow and no other option in front of you. Memories are all that you can keep and move ahead.

But it all seems to fade away with time. The past might bring you a smile but the present helps u keep it. Destiny might be something you believe in yet the future awaits your efforts. In the end, it’s those few seconds of bliss and joy that brings a light of hope into your soul.

Controlling the mind and satisfying the heart are two things humans wish to achieve, Yet only a few can cope with this complex scenario called life. Its all too messed up coz you often get what u want but never get what you need. That’s life.

Now the question is why am I blogging?

The reason that I am blogging, the main one as things stand, is because I do not have enough work to keep me busy.

I’m not sure, what I will post on this blog. But It will be mostly related to different aspects of life, It’s because of the time.now() in which I am surviving. As life moves on, choice may change, or may not.....

So nothing is sure as such. You might see articles on anything, that could be political, technical, scientific, social, or anything illogical like a cap of Himesh....

Lastly, I’m not politically backed, I’m not getting paid for this blog and you don’t have to read what I am writing if you don’t like it.

This is first time I am blogging something. So an official "Hello World" from me...!!

Have a nice day ahead.

Best regards,

Amol Rakh, Webmaster
